Health and Fitness

 

Nordic Walking is a wonderful activity for helping improve both health and fitness. As a result, you may lose some weight, improve body confidence, gait and posture. Nordic Walking helps relieve back pain, reduces joint stress, improves rehabilitation and can reduce the effects of repetitive stress injuries (RSI). It does not matter how fast you walk as the class caters for all abilities.

 

Nordic Walking is an entire body workout. It burns more calories than normal walking, between 20 - 46% more, which means it takes less effort to work off that extra cream bun, doughnut or chocolate bar. Try something new, easy to learn, and a great value for money activity.

 

Suitability: All ages 12+, all abilities, shapes and sizes, men and women. Children age 12 - 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
